WHO WE ARE:
We are women who share the same heart; we want to see girls and women set free from the lies.
WHY WE DO IT:
We know the dark roads because we've walked them. Lies have gotten a hold of us, and we've experienced the power they have to destroy us and the people around us. We want to use our stories to stop destruction from happening to others.
Patrice Reynolds- Board Member
Patrice Reynolds is first and foremost a daughter to Abba. Her other roles include wife to Rob, her amazing husband of 32 years, the mom of four children ages 20-27, and grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters.
She holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of California and has been mentoring and encouraging Rondi for the past 7 years.
Patrice's passion is to inspire leaders and influencers by helping them establish P.I.T. Crews (Personal Intercessory Teams). Patrice wrote the PIT Crew Handbook, which guides leaders in the process of setting up their own strategic prayer teams. For the past several years, Patrice has helped pastors, authors, filmmakers and other ministry leaders move into their callings and break free from the bonds holding them back.
Patrice is also the creator of Heart to Table Giving Garden and loves to design dishes from her garden harvest. One of her specialties is creating delicious soups which she fondly calls 'Soothing Soups by Patrice.
Joy Stephenson- Board Member
Joy is in love with the mission and vision of Unveiling Ministry. Reaching young ladies with the truth that they are daughters of the King Most High, that they are loved by their Heavenly Father is an important and vital mission. Joy has a loving husband and two kind fun-loving boys who are 10 and 7. As a math teacher at Santa Fe Christian School, God told Joy to mentor the young ladies by becoming a Junior Bible Seminar teacher. For the last five years, Joy has been able to mentor 80 Junior high school ladies on the attributes of holiness. It has been the highlight of her career. Joy and her family attend North Coast Church San Marcos/Escondido campus.
Joy, originally from New Jersey, loves going to the beach, dancing, playing tennis and playing family games. Joy looks forward to seeing God move through Unveiling to share truth and love to young women all over the world.
Carrie Price- Board Member
Carrie jumped at the chance to help make an impact with Unveiling because she is a native to Carlsbad, CA, so she knows and understands the culture firsthand, and she has a heart for youth. Carrie has been called into many ministry opportunities, including running a youth sports camp through NCCC for five years, being an FCA girls leader at Vista High School, and teaching women their Godly worth in Unveiling's Prison Ministry. Being a part of these ministries has shown her the importance and value of Unveiling's message. God is continually pursuing the beautiful women of our future, and through Unveiling, we have an incredible way to show them their worth in a world that tells them otherwise.
Carrie's life outside of ministry is a wife, mother, chauffeur 😉, homeschool teacher, and friend. She is married to her middle school sweetheart, Mat, and together they have three children. Caleb (21)-attending GCU (Go Lopes!), Mason (18)- 12th grade, and Aubrey (14) – 8th grade.
Life is very busy in her household with many sports, including rugby, soccer, softball, volleyball, and horseback riding. As a family, they attend Calvary Chapel Vista, and love being outdoors and supporting each other on and off the field!
